Oooh, man, I just, like, was listening to all sorts of music that reminded me of Ashfur, and I just had to do the fire scene again. So I suppose this could count as a remake?

This time I just kept the focus on Ashfur and Squirrelflight, didn't even bother drawing the three.

It was so long ago when I first read this scene, I don't even remember how I first felt as I read it. Ashfur had tons of great potential for being a wonderful villain though, I just remember reading with my eyes wide open as Hollyleaf, Lionblaze and Jayfeather, all at different times tried reasoning, threatening and understanding Ashfur, only to have him shoot them all down, determined to ruin Squirrelflight's happiness no matter how much he'd suffer from the three afterwards, even when he was obviously intimidated by Jayfeather.
I understand why a little more why they put him in StarClan, but I still wish they filled in more details, instead of leaving it with just that even StarClan warriors weren't quite sure why he was there. I was just upset about it mostly because they had the same opportunity to do that with Hawkfrost, as he was pretty much just overly ambitious and confused in the second series, having done even less code breaking than Ashfur, and instead they turned him downright evil in the third and fourth.

Still mad that Squirrelflight can get her belly sliced open and live but noooooo Tigerstar loses all nine lives! *flips desk* I could have swore it was a shoulder injury, but the wiki says belly cut open. eAe

I used the same methods as my last picture, drew the cats in paint, and added the background and effects in photoshop~♥

Someday, I'll stop changing these two's designs. :XD: I hope you all like it! What a Warriors kick, eh?

Well I don't think her belly was sliced open as badly as tigerstar's. Remember that scourge had dog and cat teeth reinforcements on his claws and a deep-seated grudge. I'm too lazy to look anything up but whoever hurt squirrelflight probably didn't have as much of an axe to grind with her. I think it was bad enough to where she lost a lot of blood but not to where any of her organs could be damaged or she bleeds the lake's worth.
I love how ashfur's eyes came out. He looks way too crazy for anyone's good and that's just how he was. The flames, shading, and lighting are fantastic.
(p.s. don't trust the wiki. The authors can't figure anything out and neither can they)
